KIM radio reports that a Serb from Gracanica was detained last night because of beating his wife under the influence of alcohol, the Kosovo Police announced today.

The victim reported to the police last night about 8 pm, and was given medical assistance.

The suspect had 1.77 units of alcohol in his blood. Offender was detained in a cell at the discretion of the prosecutor, until he sober up.

The case has been registered as a criminal offense of domestic violence and is still being investigated, reports KIM radio.
