Serbian Army, KFOR discuss cooperation (Tanjug)

BELGRADE - Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces General Ljubisa Dikovic and KFOR Commander in Kosovo-Metohija Major General Salvatore Farina conferred in the South base near Bujanovac on Friday to discuss bilateral cooperation.

The main topic of the talks focused on the joint activities of the Serbian Armed Forces and KFOR in protection of the administrative line which are being implemented with a view to preventing illegal activities.

The two generals also discussed the current and future cooperation between the Armed Forces of the Republic of Serbia and KFOR in keeping with the Military technical agreement, the Serbian Army posted on its website.

The meetings between Dikovic and Farina are usually held either at the base South or at the Nis Airport.

The Joint Commission for the implementation of the Military technical agreement comprises the commission of KFOR Command and the commission of representatives of the Serbian Armed Forces.

The meetings of the Joint Commission are held at a regular basis on various levels since 1999, with a view to fulfilling the Military technical agreement.
