Two bakeries owned by Albanians were demaged last night in Novi Sad, whereas a kebab shop was stoned. Three bakeries owned by Albanians were damaged in Vrsac as well. One person is detained in relation with the attacks, carried Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia.

State Secretary in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia Aleksandar Nikolic said that Serbia won’t tolerate inciting of religious and national hatred and that all who damage property belonging to Albanians will be punished. He added that police works on identification of those involved in attacks. “One person has been detained already and, by the order of a prosecutor, criminal charges will be pressed against the person,” Nikolic said.
