"We are willing to pay an interpreter for the Presidency" KIM Radio
Vladeta Kostic strongly criticized the attitude of the presidency of Kosovo and President Atifete Jahjaga to guaranteed rights of Serbs to use their native language.
"It is unacceptable and scandalous that the President of Kosovo, who claims that is fluent in Serbian, Orthodox believers and Orthodox Christmas called 'ortodoksima' (used English word instead Serbian). I sincerely believe that this attitude of the President of Kosovo towards the rights of the Serbian community to use their language does not reflect the attitude of the whole society towards Kosovo Serbs in Kosovo," said Vladeta Kostic, president of the CI "Srpska" in a written statement to the media.
According to Kostic, "Srpska" is ready to assist in finding solutions.
"The CI "Srpska" is ready to hire and pay a professional translator who will help the Presidency of Kosovo in translating news and interviews as well as in establishing communication with the media in the Serbian language, which for years is trying to point out and prevent the roughest violation of the law on the use of languages in Kosovo institutions" Kostic said.
