Jablanovic: Both Serbs and Albanians die from uranium (KoSSev)

We will remember forever our heroes and won’t forget them, not only on 24 March but every day at all places, said Mayor of Leposavić/Leposaviq Dragan Jablanovic near the monument to fallen martyrs during 1998-2000, on the occasion of marking the beginning of bombing of Serbia by NATO alliance on 24 March 1999.

Jablanovic said that 16 years after bombing there is no progress and that both Serbs and Albanians have suffered damages during NATO bombing. “Throwing 50 thousand tons of bombs with depleted uranium was in vain. Uranium doesn’t recognize nations or religion, but influences life and health of all who live in that region. That’s why this war was a lesson, not only to the alliance but to all – that no one should ever repeat such thing, because it only brings bigger evil that remains in collective memory of all peoples in our planet,” said Jablanovic while addressing media.
