Municipal Assemblies of North Mitrovica, Zvečan/Zveçan, Leposavić/Leposaviç and Zubin Potok on Friday adopted, almost at simultaneously held extraordinary sessions, amended and supplemented local budgets, encompassing and salaries for employees in the health and education sectors in northern Kosovo.

From now one the salary lists of workers employed in those two sectors will be complied by mayors and later forward to Kosovo financial institution, where salaries will be paid from. However those salaries won’t be paid as long as current salary lists of employees are not revised, and Association/Community of Serb municipalities established, said Mayor of North Mitrovica Goran Rakić, without further explanation about what the ‘revision’ of salary lists actually means
