Macedonian police has raised the security level at the higher level following information that members of the “Kumanovo grouop” are preparing revenge attacks in Macedonia, stated spokesman of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Macedonia Ivo Kotevski.

Kotevski said to Meta agency that police has learned that members of the group are planning to carry out attacks on vital state premises and kidnappings of police officials.

From this reason, said Kotevski, the raise of the security level was ordered when it comes to security of officials and premises under police protection. He added that mandatory police patrolling in vicinity of the northern Macedonian border have been introduced, too.
