Jevtić: Displaced live in inhuman conditions (KIM Radio)
Minister for Communities and Return Dalibor Jevtić said, on the occasion of the World Refugee Day, that wherever displaced live they live in difficult and inhuman conditions.
Jevtić further said that marking of the World Refugee Day reminds on all hardship of those who used to live in their homes in adequate conditions. “Whereas, today they don’t live in their houses and they live in conditions which are not suitable for a dignified life,” said Jevtić, and added that many of us could not endure a single day in such conditions, not to talk about 1, 2 or 16 years.
He went on to say that many have lost the hope in return since process of return lasts for 16 years but is not yielding meaningful results.
“There are many problems, from the economic ones to those linked with usurped property and other issues, but I promise you today that, with the help of the international community and governments of Kosovo, Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro, we will give our maximum to change the situation,” stressed Jevtić.
