Simić: Serbian elections more important than presidential elections in Kosovo (KIM Radio)

The leader of the Serbian List Slavko Simić stated today in North Mitrovica that the election of the Kosovo President is not very important for the Serbs when compared to the importance of the organization of the upcoming Serbian parliamentary elections in Kosovo.

Simić said to Tanjug that Serbian List is united when it comes to coordination of activities with the Serbian Government, and that all important decisions are made following consultations with the Serbian Government.

“I have to convey the message to the general public in Kosovo and Metohija, to our people, that Serbian List deems the election of the Kosovo President as a trivial process,” said Simić, and added that the organization of Serbian parliamentary elections in Kosovo is what matters to the Serbian List.

Media in Kosovo reported that everything is ready for the Kosovo parliamentary session during which Hashim Thaci is supposed to be elected as a President of Kosovo, whereas Kosovo opposition parties announced that they will block the session.
