Marić: Serbs in Kosovo institutions won’t be a decoration (KIM Radio)

Minister of Local Government Administration in the Kosovo government Ljubomir Marić said ahead of tomorrow’s session of the Kosovo parliament, during which the president of Kosovo should be elected, that no one should expect Serbs in institutions to only be there as decoration.

Marić reflected on yesterday’s session of the Kosovo Assembly Presidency which was interrupted by the leader of the Serbian List Slavko Simić who later left, and said that what happened to Simić in that session is not the way that politicians should behave with any representative of citizens or a political structure. He further said that they don’t have any agreement about the election of the president and that they remain open for talks.

The leader of the Serbian List Slavko Simić left yesterday’s session of the Kosovo Assembly Presidency and explained that he did so because he received the invitation to the session only seven minutes before it started.
