The leader of the Serbian List Slavko Simić said that Serbian elections will be organized this year in Kosovo and Metohija, like in 2012 and 2014.

Reflecting on the statement of the Kosovo minister without portfolio Edita Tahiri that Serbian elections won’t take place in Kosovo, Simić said that elections in Kosovo have been facilitated by the OSCE in the past and that this was not discussed with Albanian political leaders.

Representatives of Kosovo Serbs gathered around the Patriotic Block will also submit a petition with 21,000 signatures to the Serbian leadership requesting local elections to be organized in Kosovo and Metohija, and for institutions of the Republic of Serbia to return to Kosovo.
