Đurić: Belgrade will continue to affirm dialogue with Pristina (Blic)

At a meeting yesterday with Austrian Ambassador to Serbia, Johannes Eigner, the Director of the Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Đurić, assessed that Austria is one of the key partners of Serbia when it comes to Belgrade’s European perspective and creation of regional stability.

The Office communicated that Đurić discussed the current political situation in Kosovo and the Euro-integration process of Serbia with Eigner. He acquainted Eigner with the situation of Serbs in Kosovo and stressed that frequent attacks on Serbs, their property and recent attacks directed toward the economic cooperation between Belgrade and Pristina are worrying.

“Pristina should soon unblock the process of creation of the Community of Serb Municipalities, which is the most important segment of the Brussels Agreement. In spite of Pristina’s frequent attempts to settle the key issues for Serbian people in the province out of the frame of the Brussels Agreement, Belgrade will further continue to affirm the dialogue on all matters of mutual interests,” said Đurić.
