Jevtić and Numanović about the return of displaced (TV Most)

Minister for Communities and Returns in the Kosovo government, Dalibor Jevtić talked in Kosovo Polje/Fushë Kosovë with the Minister for Human and Minority Rights in the Government of Montenegro, Sead Numanović.

Jevtić said that issues related to the process of return of displaced persons from Montenegro to Kosovo were discussed, and in general solutions to the problems of internally displaced people and respect of their rights.

Jevtić said that problems of IDPs should be resolved and disagreements removed on the way. To this end Jevtić mentioned the forthcoming inter-religious conference, where he stressed that this is an opportunity that religions do not represent an obstacle to coexistence and cooperation.

"This is the only way how we can contribute that the entire region be stable, to develop economically and that should be our goal - stability, economic development, cooperation and all that is contrary to confrontations and negative phenomena from the past," said Jevtić.

Minister Numanović reminded that it was the second meeting with Minister Jevtić, and that problems of IDPs were discussed within the corpus of protection of fundamental human rights.

Numanović stressed the important role of the international community in this process in the light of securing financial resources to resolve the outstanding issues relating to the issue of displaced persons.
