Kostić condemned stoning of Serbian house in Lipljan (KIM Radio)
We strongly condemn the stoning of Ana Radović's house from Lipljan/Lipjan and request from Kosovo Police to urgently identify and bring to justice the perpetrators, said Mayor of Gračanica/Graçanice Vladeta Kostić.
"The attack on the property of Ana Radović rightfully brought the fear among the Serbs who live in this town for their personal and family's security, therefore and their survival in this town," said Kostić.
As stated in the press release, this is not the first time that remaining Serbs in Lipljan/Lipljan are under pressure, the property which belongs to the Serbian community desecrated, as well as being exposed to insults and curses, all in order to intimidate them.
"These cases do not contribute to stabilization and development of good inter-ethnic relations on which we work all together, and therefore we refer the appeal to the competent institutions, primarily the Kosovo Police to seriously work on this and other cases, which have not been clarified," says Kostić.
In the course of this week two cases of attacks on Serbs and their property were reported.
