The Serbian List: We did not receive an invitation from the government (KIM radio)
Media in Pristina today are reporting on a statement of advisor of Prime Minister of Kosovo Bajram Gecaj, who claims that government has invited to talks the parliamentary group of the Serbian List. From the Serbian List, deny that they received an invitation.
A few days after the Serbian List decided to boycott the institutions, the Government of Kosovo, led by Isa Mustafa, has decided to invite this parliamentary group to discuss their requirements. Bajram Gecaj, advisor to Prime Minister of Kosovo Isa Mustafa, said this to Indeksonline.
The head of the parliamentary group of the Serbian List, Slavko Simić however denies this for RTV KiM, that the Serbian deputies have received an invitation for talks.
"No one has called. The Trepča Act was passed in one day. We asked not to discuss the law; however, the Assembly did not have the understanding for requirements of the Serbian community and the 3,000 workers of Trepča. So we froze our participation in institutions. Yet no one called us to talk about the Trepča or returning to the institution," Simić told RTV KiM.
