Kuburovic: I expect beginning of work of Special Court and continuation of dialogue (BETA, RTS, B92)
Serbian Justice Minister, Nela Kuburovic told BETA news agency she expect the Special Court for KLA crime would soon begin to operate.
Kuburovic also said, she believes the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue in Brussels would continue.
“I believe the Specialist Chambers would soon start working and that the justice to the victims will be served,” Kuburovic said.
She added, that an initiative to abrogate the Special Court would not be able to prevent the work of that court as there is an international agreement on its establishment.
Chairperson of the Serbian Government Missing Persons Commission, Veljko Odalovic said it is very important and he expects that Specialist Chambers would recognize a command responsibility of the KLA members.
He also touched upon “Yellow House” case, adding that international forces present in Kosovo knew about organ harvesting, but remained silent, Serbian media reported.
“Silence is a crime, as at that time there were 50.000 members of the peacekeeping forces present in Kosovo, and Dick Marty’s report says the transport of people was done at that time, and how come tracks with thousands of people could reach Albania, and no one saw it or made a record of it, they remained silent, due to fear or connection, let the investigation deal with that,” Odalovic said, Serbian media reported
