Pristina unconcerned over “threats” from EU (Vecernje Novosti)

Belgrade and Pristina technical teams headed by Marko Djuric and Avni Arifi, divided into working groups disused yesterday in Brussels implementation of the agreement on integrated border management, Belgrade-based daily Vecernje Novosti reported.

One day earlier, the most important topics, Association of Serb Municipalities, energy and bridge in Mitrovica were on the agenda, however no press announcements were made after the meeting. According to Novosti, it is expected the EU High Representative Federica Mogherini would issue a press statement later today.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Kosovo President Hashim Thaci are expected to meet in Brussels on Friday, and talk in details about everything the two sides agreed or disagreed upon, daily further writes.

However, it is obvious the EU either does not have respective instruments or it may not wish to use them in order to make Pristina to implement the agreement of the Association of Serb Municipalities, which is of essential importance to the further progress.

Brussels threatens with slowing down the visa liberalization and the process of EU integration for Kosovo, however Pristina is obviously not concerned about that, placing the territorial interest in the forefront, daily concluded.
