Drecun on Kosovo: We need predictable partner on other side (RTS)
Serbian Assembly Committee for Kosovo and Metohija Chairperson, Milovan Drecun told RTS much would be decided on Washington-Paris-Berlin line, and Serbia needs to represent its interest there when it comes to Kosovo.
Speaking for RTS morning news edition, Drecun emphasized that a room missing to reach a compromise is being created now.
“Pristina insists on a stance that closes the door to the normalization, e.g, recognition of its independence, and there is no room for a compromise,” Drecun said, adding it is good for Serbia if France and Germany want to accept the situation that Serbia will not recognize Kosovo.
Speaking about continuation of a dialogue in Brussels, Drecun pointed out there are different formats of the meetings which indicates Brussels have realized that all in Pristina must take responsibility over what Kosovo President Hashim Thaci agrees in Brussels.
“We must have a predictable partner on the other side, and it is not possible if Thaci agrees on one thing and others do not respect that. They all must take over responsibility for what has been agreed. And it is obvious Thaci lacks capacities to carry out what was agreed,” Drecun added.
