Momcilo Trajkovic on political opponents, relation of Belgrade toward Kosovo (Danas)
Former Kosovo Serb politician and member of the Serb National Forum, Momcilo Trajkovic in an interview to Belgrade-based daily Danas said that President Vucic with his recent visit in Kosovo demoralized Serbs instead of encouraging them.
Commenting on Vucic’s speech in Mitrovica North that was termed “as historic” Trajkovic said that he does not know if President Vucic gave up on delineation now, however, he shook the grounds of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija to remain and survive in their home places. Delineation among Serbs south of the Ibar River is understood they would remain in “Great Albania,” and this is something they do not want at any cost. Trajkovic opined that President Vucic this way destroyed the notion of return, that is possible only south of the Ibar River, since Serbs do not want to return to “Great Albania.”
According to Trajkovic, if delineation with Albanians happens, then the Association/Community of Serb-majority Municipalities is needless. ZSO is there because of the Serbs, and everything would fail if there are few Serbs left following the delineation, Trajkovic said.
“If Serbia would “get free” of Albanians in the south of Serbia, then Kosovo would also “get free” of Serbs in the north (4 municipalities). What does Vucic think, if Serbia “gets rid” of Albanians, Albanians in Kosovo would “tolerate” 80 thousand Serbs south of the Ibar River, who would always remain a disruptive element, and that we would get the ZSO?” Trajkovic underlined.
