Movement Fatherland: ''Dacic is lying, the views of Russia and Serbia about Kosovo are not identical'' (Vesti)

"Statement by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Ivica Dacic, that the views of Russia and Serbia on the issue of Kosovo and Metohija are identical, is a naked lie," says the People's Movement of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija, portal Vesti reported.

"The Russian Federation repeatedly, starting with President Putin and Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, advocated that the status of Kosovo be resolved within the framework of Resolution 1244. In translation, this means that Russia is against the division of Kosovo, demarcation with Albanians, correction of borders and other nebulosis propagated by Aleksandar Vucic," the Movement Fatherland claims.

"The question is why Aleksandar Vucic is going to Moscow soon? He will have a need to explain to the Russian president why Serbia is closed to Russian capital, and everyone can invest in Serbia, Germans, French, Koreans and British, just not the Russians. The last case, although the Russian company offered the best conditions on the tender for the privatization of the mining and smelter basin Bor, did not win the tender. The judicial epilogue, through the announced lawsuit of the Russian company, only shows that Russia is not welcome in Serbia," adds the Movement.

"The visit of the President of Serbia to Moscow will last for three days. Vucic said that this should confirm the friendship of the two peoples, as if it does not last more than a thousand years. The visit may be aims at providing a safe destination for the illegally acquired capital of the Vucic family''.

''We thank the Russian President on the categorical attitude of the Russian Federation that Serbia and its southern province cannot be divided, demarcated, split, but that the solution for the status of Kosovo must be within the framework of Resolution 1244 and the applicable Constitution of the Republic of Serbia ", concluded the Fatherland - National Movement of Serbs from Kosovo based in North Mitrovica.
