Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director, Marko Djuric urged those “who sustained damages over the recent period” to address the municipalities or the Office for Kosovo and Metohija for compensation, KoSSev portal reported.
“We would do our utmost to compensate these people,” Djuric added. He also announced talks are underway with insurance companies and banks in order to find a solution so farmers and people dealing with agriculture in Kosovo and Metohija can have insurances against thefts under the state expenses.
“Our people in Kosovo and Metohija, unfortunately for generations got used to pressure, and this is something we can have no influence at all times, but it is our obligation to help people face this difficult situation and we would respond to that obligation in a proper manner,” Djuric underlined.
