Turkish president voices support for agreement on Kosovo (N1, RTS)
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic that Ankara will support any agreement on Kosovo reached by Serbs and Albanians, the Serbian president’s cabinet said in Wednesday’s press release.
Speaking to Vucic by telephone, Erdogan said that Turkey will support any agreement reached by Belgrade and Pristina as part of their dialogue on Kosovo.
The Turkish president is quoted as saying that he expects President Vucic to come to Ankara on Turkey’s national holiday, October 29 for the opening of Istanbul’s third airport.
According to the press release, the two presidents said that the first contracts to build roads in Serbia will be signed during that visit and agreed to start preparations for Erdogan’s official visit to Serbia in 2019.
