Novosti: Kouchner, Tachi’s “connection” for seat behind Putin? (Vecernje Novosti)
Privileged seat for Hashim Thaci during the ceremony to mark the end of WWI in Paris on November 11, was most probably arranged by Bernard Kouchner, Belgrade-based daily Vecernje Novosti writes today.
The daily adds, two days prior to the ceremony, Thaci posted a photo with Kouchner in Paris on his Twitter profile. Bernard Kouchner is former head of French diplomacy, former head of UNMIK, and great friend of so-called Kosovo.
The reason for their meeting in Paris was a promotion of Thaci’s biography, and Kouchner wrote a foreword for it. Kouchner also has very close links with the current Paris authorities.
“A man who has betrayed socialist ideas and joined rightist Nikola Sarkozi’s government, once again changed the political discourse and supported the current President Emanuel Macron,” Novosti said.
Therefore, it is highly possible that good contacts he made from it, Kouchner used to lobby for a better position for Hashim Thaci at the ceremony. To support this claim, Vecernje Novosti also added, Kouchner is known as one of the supporters of the fake state of Kosovo, Pristina authorities are ready to pay huge amounts for lobbying services, so one should not exclude possibility it was Kouchner in fact, who thorough his connections “positioned” Thaci behind Vladimir Putin’s back.
