Brnabic attends Berlin ceremonial dinner with Merkel (BETA, Tanjug, B92)

Serbian PM Ana Brnabic attended a ceremonial dinner hosted by the Suddeutsche Zeitung newspaper in Berlin on Tuesday evening. Merkel and Brnabic "sat at the same table in the ceremonial hall of the German Historical Museum," BETA news agency said.

The prime minister said that the dinner was "an opportunity to talk to the German chancellor on various issues," the Serbian government announced.

According to this, Brnabic also "thanked Merkel for all the support that Germany provides to Serbia, but also talked to her about the issue of Kosovo and Metohija."

Brnabic began the visit to Germany on Tuesday, taking part in the "Serbia in the EU" forum of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, and will wrap up her visit to Germany on Thursday with a tour of the Siemens training center, it has been announced.

Brnabic's encounter with Merkel comes only days after Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met the German chancellor on November 11 in Paris, where the two officials were attending ceremonies to commemorate Armistice Day.
