EU: Still no date for new round of Kosovo talks (RFE, BETA, TV N1)
The European Union still does not have a precise time for the next round of Belgrade – Pristina dialogue on normalization of relations, either at technical or political level, EU High Representative Spokesperson Maja Kocijancic told Radio Free Europe (RFE).
She said that “the work on (organizing) the technical, but also the high political level talks continue, and the date should be confirmed."
Pristina chief negotiator Avni Arifi blamed Belgrade for ceasing all activities concerning so far reached agreements, adding Pristina was ready to continue the dialogue, however, Serbia is rejecting it.
Arifi admitted Pristina was behind in drafting the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO) statute but said “the Serbs are exclusive members of a working group and the delay is their responsibility.”
Meanwhile, Belgrade said it would continue talks with Pristina, only after the latter revokes its decision on imposing additional taxes on goods from central Serbia, media report.
