Dacic on delineation: It has not been put aside (BETA, Blic)
Serbian Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic said the idea on delineation between Serbs and Albanians, that might include and border correction, “has not been put aside,” BETA news agency reported.
He added this idea represents “the only concrete initiative”.
Speaking for Blic daily Sunday’s edition, Dacic stressed “the status quo is impossible condition,” and it would result with Serbs vanishing from Kosovo and Metohija, as well as taking over Serbian cultural and religious heritage sites in Kosmet.”
“The idea on delineation has not been put aside, on the contrary. One of the latest confirmations for that came from (until recently) KFOR Commander, Salvatore Couci who said there is no border between Kosovo and Serbia, and what the border is would be determined only trough the agreement, and the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina,” Dacic said.
He also assessed Kosovo no longer enjoys the support of the West, following introduction of 100 percent taxes on the goods from central Serbia, adding the dialogue between the two sides would continue after Pristina lifts that measure.
