Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic told reporters ahead of the session of the Belgrade committee of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) that it would be difficult to change the attitude of the great powers on the formation of Kosovo Army, but considers that it is important that at the session of the United Nations Security Council is heard that it is a violation of Resolution 1244, the only valid document regarding Kosovo, reported Radio Television of Serbia on Sunday evening (RTS).

Dacic says that due to the disagreement of the great powers, he does not expect any decision to be made.

"It is important that President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic will attend the UN SC session,'' and that it is important to hear the voice of Serbia and condemnation of such acts of Pristina", said Dacic.

Asked how he commented on Brussels's offer to the authorities in Pristina to present themselves in CEFTA as Kosovo and not as UNMIK, and in return to withdraw the tax on goods from Serbia, Dacic said it was a matter for Pristina.

"What they did, they will withdraw then we can move on, and if they don't, there is no continuation of the dialogue," Dacic concluded.

The EU has sent a letter to Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, "offering him a solution," Tanjug reported on Sunday, citing Pristina-based Koha Ditore.

The agency said that EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini and EU commissioners for trade, and neighborhood policy and enlargement negotiations have sent a joint letter to Haradinaj.

The report said that the EU, among other things, suggests instead of "UNMIK" to be "Kosovo*" in the CEFTA agreement.
