Montgomery: Beware of Pristina’s provocations (Tanjug, RTS)
As long as USA and the EU are not ready to concretely punish Kosovo Albanians, by cutting financial support for example, they will not give up on the current attitude, former US Ambassador to Serbia William Montgomery said, Tanjug news agency reported.
“What I am asking are not words or demarche, but rather concrete steps, such as the abolishment of financial support,” Montgomery said.
He also warned on possible Pristina’s provocations. “Kosovo Albanians would do anything, carry out provocations to force Serbia to react in a manner that would divert attention in the world from Kosovo Albanians and focus it on Serbia again. Do not fall pray to it!” Montgomery noted.
He added, these are his personal stances and assessments, given that he has no contacts with the current American administration, Tanjug reported.
