Veseli: Serbia will be responsible for all victims (B92, RTK2)
Belgrade based portal B92 reports, quoting Radio Television of Kosovo in Serbian language (RTK2), that the president of the Kosovo Assembly, Kadri Veseli claimed that on Monday formally started formation of an international tribunal for crimes committed by Serbia in Kosovo.
The portal reports that Veseli at the same time threatened with arrest of "cowards that are now free in Serbia".
RTK2 in the Serbian language conveyed that a meeting was held in Pristina in the presence of representatives of the missing, the organizations of war associations, the Kosovo Ministry of Justice, the heads of deputy groups and the civil sector in the Kosovo Assembly, about the formation of the tribunal, and that Veseli in his introductory remarks said that the international court was "necessary" to condemn the crimes that Serbia has committed.
Veseli said that it was a persecution that was "similar to the Holocaust", and added that "Kosovo does not accept silence and denial" and that justice will be met.
"Serbia will be responsible for all these victims, our message for criminals and those who deny crimes, cowards that are free today in Serbia, you will be arrested. You did crimes because you were cowards. You were afraid of the conflict with the Kosovo Liberation Army, so you attacked civilians. We will find you," said Veseli.
Veseli said, as RTK2 reported, that Albanians in Kosovo were sentenced to 189 years in prison for war crimes in Kosovo, while in the case of Serbs, only 29 years in prison. Veseli then asked who was the aggressor here? For crimes committed in Bosnia, Croatia and Kosovo only 44 decisions were passed and only 74 criminals were fined, of which few for crimes in Kosovo.
