KoSSev: Djuric in the north (Serbian media, RFE)
Kossev porta reports that a visit of the director of the KiM Office, Marko Djuric, has been announced for today. Djuric previously himself announced to the Serbian media the opening of the water supply system in the North Kosovo.
Kossev reports as the latest news that Djuric is in Zubin Potok.
According to KiM Office announcement, Djuric will meet in Zubin Potok with the mayors of four municipalities in north Kosovo at noon today, and then will attend the ceremony of the university in the rectorate in Mitrovica North at 2 pm.
Kossev reports that the opening of the water supply system was not mentioned , nor whether the arrangement with the Kosovo authorities was harmonized.
Although originally approved, Djuric's visit, according to yesterday's reporting of Kosovo media, was banned, including the arrival of education minister Mladen Sarcevic, due to the fact that, as explained, the purpose of the visit was changed.
However, as Radio Free Europe reported in the meantime, Djuric was granted a permission to visit North Mitrovica, but "not the other parts of Kosovo".
"A request for a visit to the student center in North Mitrovica was approved on Wednesday. On Thursday, he further asked to expand his agenda in several more locations, which was rejected. A permit issued at the first request remains in force," said the head of the Cabinet of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jetlir Zyberaj.
