Kosovo Albanian reports Vucic to German police (N1, KoSSev, Gazeta Express)

Kosovo Albanian Florim Ejupi has reported Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic for alleging that he was involved in the murder of Kosovo Serb opposition leader Oliver Ivanovic, the KoSSev portal reported on Thursday.

Vucic told a news conference on Wednesday that Ejupi was involved in the Ivanovic murder in January 2018 in the town of Kosovska Mitrovica. He said that Ejupi fled to Germany via Albania.

Ejupi’s lawyer Mahmut Halimi told Pristina daily Gazeta Express that his client reported Vucic to the German police and was allegedly told that he should not be upset about the case because the police was handling the Serbian authorities. He added that the German police will issue a statement on the case.

Florim Ejupi was the main suspect in the bombing of a Nis Express bus in 2001 when a number of Serbs were killed. Ejupi was sentenced to 40 years for the bombing but was later released on appeal.
