Djuric: Hunt against Serbs has started, Stanisic sent to one-month detention (Danas, RTS)
Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director Marko Djuric said a predictable and expected pressure and hunt against Serbs in Kosovo has started following the address of the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Saturday, Danas daily reports.
This way, Djuric reacted to the arrest of Serb Goran Stanisic at crossing point of Jarinje, under suspicion of allegedly committing the war crimes in Kosovo.
Goran Stanisic is displaced person from Kosovo and lives in the village of Medjuluzje near Mladenovac since 1999. Bogdan Mitrovic – symbol of arrests based on secret Pristina’s indictments and false testimonies of the Kosovo Albanians – also lives in the same village, Danas daily noted, citing the Office’s statement.
Stanisic was visiting Kosovo often, last time he came a month ago, and until yesterday he faced no problems while crossing the administrative line.
Meanwhile, RTS reported today that the court sent Stanisic to one-month in detention. His lawyer Miro Delevic announced filing a complaint claiming that his client was not present at the place of events he is accused of.
