Trajkovic on CEC decision: Agreement between Pristina and international community (N1, Kosovo-online)
Member of Serbian National Forum Presidency Momcilo Trajkovic assessed today that the current Pristina authorities “would not dare to make decision on thier own” based on which voting in the upcoming Kosovo elections on October 6 would be possible using Kosovo issued documents only, Kosovo-online portal reports. Trajkovic added “that instruction most probably came from certain international circles”.
He also assessed “it was an internal agreement between Pristina officials and the international community”.
“When it was in Albanians’ favor to bring Serbs in the institutions of the system in Kosovo at any cost, in particular when the north had to be incorporated into the Kosovo system, consent was given that the voting is possible with the Serbian documents. Obviously, such decision was needed because it was a well known thing that before Serbian citizens could even vote using the health booklet as a document. Now, when the Serbs are integrated, all this is no longer needed and such decisions can be revoked,” Trajkovic assessed.
