Igor Simic: Pristina hijacks 4,000 Serbs' votes (Politika, Dnevnik, RTV, Kurir)

The head of the list of candidates in front of the Serbian List Igor Simic told Belgrade based daily Politika that it is crucial for the list to win all 10 Serbian seats in the Assembly of Kosovo and warned that if the Albanians manage to plant a cuckoo in the nest and any of 'Trojan horses' wins a mandate, this would endanger the survival of the Serbian people.

Simic told Politika that the decision of CEC to deprive more than 4,000 Serbs of voting rights is illegal and aims to reduce the number of Serbian votes, or more precisely those that will be won by the Serbian List. He said that this will open the space for parties which present themselves as Serbian, but which are really run by Pristina, to win some mandates.

He said that unlike other parties, the Serbian List is the only one that offers a concrete program and not the hatred.

He opined that the attacks of Slobodan Petrovic, Rada Trajkovic and others against the Serbian List represent ordered, directed attacks against all Serbs living in Kosovo, but also against the institutions of Serbia, thanks to which the Serbian people survive in the area.

Calling them private Serbs, Simic said that “Serbs controlled by Albanian political structures, when attacking the Serbian List, want to cut the umbilical cord by which the Serbian List ties the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija to our state of Serbia”.
