Abrashi: Mustafa not stepping down, ruling coalition is stable (Indeksonline)

In an interview for Klan Kosova, Kosovo Minister of Labour and Social Welfare and government spokesperson Arban Abrashi said that there are no plans for Prime Minister Isa Mustafa to step down and added that the ruling coalition between the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) and the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) is stable. “I think the opposition is going over the board, especially with nationalism speech,” said Abrashi.

Mustafa to present Kosovo’s progress in Vienna Summit (Telegrafi)

Arban Abrashi, spokesperson for the Kosovo government, said that Prime Minister Isa Mustafa, during the Western Balkans Summit in Vienna today will present the progress that is being achieved in Kosovo in several fields  and Kosovo’s further steps in economic development and strengthening of statehood capabilities. Abrashi said that the summit will address important topics for Kosovo related to the economic situation, reforms, youth, education, energy, infrastructure and some other topics.

Germany job market opens for the people of Kosovo (Zeri)

The Kosovo-German Chamber of Commerce (KGCC) soon will enable the young people of Kosovo to go to Germany for training and professional education. The KGCC on Thursday signed a memorandum of cooperation with Kosovo’s Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare for training and professional education of Kosovo's young people in Germany. The President of KGCC, Samir Krasniqi said that this project provides many opportunities to young Kosovars to be educated and work simultaneously in Germany.

Albania Minister of Labor and Social Welfare visits Kosovo (KosovaPress)

Albania Minister of Labour and Social Welfare Erion Veliaj is visiting Kosovo on Friday. Veliaj met with his Kosovo counterpart, Arban Abrashi. Veliaj and Abrashi discussed  the importance of cooperation in the field of professional training, and agreed that the Kosovo to remove the work permit for Albanian citizens. Both sides concluded a cooperation agreement in the field of employment, professional training and pensions, and vowed to work in other areas of mutual interest.

Kosovo to reach agreements on seasonal employment with EU (Koha)

The Kosovo government is in negotiations with several European Union countries to send workers from Kosovo for seasonal employment. According to Kosovo's Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Arban Abrashi, the government expects in spring to reach agreements with some of these countries. Abrashi adds that the whole process will be monitored, including the working conditions, health conditions, as well as returns. Abrashi says the migration of people leaves a shadow to this process,  but according to him, this will help in preventing the irregular migration.

Abrashi: We understand Djuric, he needs to make big statements (Koha)

Arban Abrashi, the spokesman for the goverment of Kosovo, reacted today to a statement by Marko Djuric, the head of the Serbian government’s office for Kosovo, on the Trepca mining complex. “We need to stress that no one will ask Serbia to give up on something that is not hers. Trepca and all its wealth belongs to Kosovo. We also understand Djuric and the fact that he needs to make big statements,” Abrashi said.
