Patriotic Block request elections to repeat in Mitrovica, Zvecan and Pomoravlje region (Kontakt Plus Radio)

Patriotic Block, comprised of the Democratic Party of Serbia and Dveri movement, communicated last night that huge election theft has taken place in the organization of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) and that most irregularities have been recorded in North Mitrovica, Zvečan/ Zveçan and Pomoravlje Region (East Kosovo) and that elections should repeat in those places.

As a concrete example they quoted a case of certain number of Serbs voting under Albanian names in North Mitrovica.

The election process in Kosovo and Metohija proceeded remarkably well, as we had a better turnout than in 2014 and 2012, Marko Djuric has said. Speaking late on Sunday, the Director of the Serbian Government's Office for Kosovo and Metohija added that "the OSCE had almost absolutely nothing to object to when it comes to the vote."

Reduced number of locations for polling stations in Kosovo due to security concerns (TV Most)

Republic Electoral Commission (REC) of Serbia has decided to reduce the number of locations for the polling stations in Kosovo and Metohija from 25 to 21, due to security concerns.

The chairperson of REC Dejan Đurđević said that security situation in Kosovo is such that the risk for voters is high at polling stations, thus the number of locations will be reduced and some polling stations’ addresses will be changed in order that everything is kept under control.

Government, OSCE agree on Serbian elections in Kosovo (Kallxo)

The Kosovo government and the OSCE Mission in Kosovo have reached an agreement for the OSCE to facilitate the voting of Kosovo Serbs in the Serbian parliamentary elections on April 24. The OSCE mission issued a statement today confirming the agreement. “The Mission confirms to conduct collection of votes operation in Kosovo to enable eligible voters access to Serbian parliamentary elections. The Mission is now planning all operational details and will inform the public accordingly,” the statement noted.

OSCE: Manner of voting and number of polling stations soon to be known (RTK2)

The date of Serbian early elections is approaching whereas final decision of the OSCE about the polling stations in Kosovo is still pending.

Representatives of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo have visited Belgrade on Tuesday and consultations have continued in Pristina yesterday, whereas they promised that manner of voting and number of polling stations – as they are called by Belgrade, that is centers for collection of votes – as they are called by Prisitna, will be known soon.
