Two years ago on 19 October prime ministers of Serbia and Kosovo, Ivica Dacic and Hashim Thaci, met for the first time in Brussels and started the political dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.

The Agreement signed in April 2013 has relaxed relations between Belgrade and Pristina and enabled freedom of movement across the administrative crossings, but integration of judiciary and police from the north into Kosovo institutions too, which were formed after the unilateral declaration of independence.

Ten rounds of talks have taken place so far whereas one of the most challenging tasks remains creation of the community of Serb municipalities (CSM), which is referred to in 6 out of 15 points of the Brussels Agreement. Creation of the CSM didn’t even start yet due to a lack of legal framework which should be set by Kosovo institutions, which haven’t been formed yet after the general elections held on 8 June.
