Next meeting of the Foreign and Economy ministers from the region, where again will meet Ivica Dacic and Enver Hoxhaj, will be held in Pristina, by the end of the year. Brussels already sent the Kosovo authorities strict instructions how that gathering should look like.

As Novosti learned, they were told that the meeting, which was assessed as meeting of the high risk, should be organized according to the “Belgrade’s model,” and that there must be no provocation in the form of displaying the national insignia, the flags, coat of arms … It is especially emphasized that all participants must be provided maximum safety, and that protest rallies due to the arrival of guests from Belgrade and rallies of support for officials from Tirana will not be held.

The EU has praised Serbia for organizing a ministerial conference on Thursday in Belgrade, where except Hoxhaj was present Albanian Foreign Minister, Ditmir Bushati. Although guests from Pristina and Tirana, on the margins of the conference, warmed up the atmosphere by statements, Serbian officials didn’t accept a provocation, which was welcomed in the Brussels.

Dusan Janjic from the Forum for Ethnic Relations says that Priština, as a host of the next regional meeting, will have to stick to the agreed rules, which is why he does not believe that the Serbian side will experience a “provocation,” but this does not exclude that before the meeting atmosphere in Kosovo becomes “inflammatory”: “Since I believe that the movement “Self-determination” will not be part of a future Kosovo government, it can be expected that they will organize gathering, because they are the opponents of European interference in Kosovo issues and advocate for the unification of all Albanians.”

Just as the representatives of Pristina, in Belgrade, “on the margins” of the conference promoted Kosovo’s statehood, Janjic says that the Serbian officials in Pristina, on the margins of the conference can present their opinions about the status issue and say that they had come in Serbian province (if they evaluate it is necessary).
