Mustafa may not visit the north of Kosovo soon (Danas)

According to unofficial announcements from Brussels, the head of the Kosovo diplomacy, Hashim Thaci should seek Kosovo’s entry into the CoE in a meeting with the Secretary of the Council of Europe Thorbjorn Jagland.

A membership in the European institution decides Committee of Ministers composed of 47 foreign ministers of member states, on the proposal of the Parliamentary Assembly.

According to the Pristina daily Tribuna, BIH on the Adriatic League meeting in Tirana rejected the suggestion that Kosovo becomes the member of the Association of the US and regional countries to promote NATO integration.

Dragan Jablanović, Mayor of Leposavic in Kosovo system, denies the speculation for Danas, that the new Kosovo Prime Minister Isa Mustafa might soon visit this predominantly Serbian municipality in northern Kosovo. Jablanovic explains that Kosovo officials cannot visit the Serbian municipalities without the consent of the municipal authorities, which consult with Belgrade about it. He argues that because of Belgrade’s disagreements, repeatedly has been rejected the initiative of the Presidency of Kosovo, on visit of Atifete Jahjaga to Serbian municipalities in northern Kosovo.
