Jahjaga: We should establish special court as soon as possible (Gazeta Express)

The President of Kosovo Atifete Jahjaga, met today with the U.S. Congressman, Eliot Engel, accompanied by the U.S. Ambassador to Kosovo, Tracey Ann Jacobson. President Jahjaga and Congressman Engel, discussed the current developments in Kosovo, efforts to establish the rule of law, fulfillment of the international obligations, European perspective and stabilization of the relations among the countries of the Balkans region.

Speaking about the special court, Jahjaga said that she expects from Kosovo institutions, the government and the Assembly, to find the way of fulfilling international obligations as soon as possible, by respecting the decisions of the Assembly and international agreements. She added that Kosovo institutions and its citizens will prove that they belive in the justice principles for everyone and that they will close this difficult chapter of history.
