Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric has been forbidden to come to Gracanica, said his deputy Zeljko Jovic.

Djuric was expected today to attend the festive liturgy in Gracanica on the occasion of the Assumption.

Jovic blamed the authorities in Pristina for the ban of the visit.

“The request was duly sent, the visit was banned for all the details you’ll need to ask those who’ve banned the visit,” said Jovic.

Ljubomir Maric, Minister in the Kosovo government in charge of Administration and Local Self-Government, also does not know what the reasons are for the ban.
