Former Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Petrit Selimi, has expressed his revolt regarding the government decision to dismiss him from the position of the national coordinator of the Millennium Challenges Corporation, considering it as unjustifiable and illegal. He said that he has offered his resignation from the position of the Deputy Foreign Minister in order to avoid conflict of interest. He believes that today’s decision will be annulled. “For the sake of correctness, the Office of the Prime Minister should have at least contacted me, being on holiday, to tell me in advance about this decision. I am convinced that the Prime Minister has made this decision due to the lack of information, and I am certain that today’s decision will be annulled,” Selimi said for lajmi.net.
