Kosovo’s Foreign Ministry condemned the attack on Turkey’s General Consulate building in Prizren this morning, considering it “a vandal act of irresponsible people who are against a democratic and multi-ethnic state like Kosovo.” “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs congratulates the Kosovo Police for arresting the irresponsible persons who have committed this hideous act. The Ministry requires that the perpetrators be brought to justice. Kosovo’s relations with Turkey are excellent and as such they will not be hampered or damaged by any isolated act of vandalism that does not want the best for Kosovo and friendly relations with Turkey,” reads a statement issued by Foreign Ministry.
