Minister for Communities and Return in the Kosovo government, Dalibor Jevtić, hailed the reached agreement with regard to arranging the area in the vicinity of the main bridge in Kosovska Mitrovica, and assessed that it contributes to the peace and safety of residents.
“It was proved once again that only through the dialogue, without unilateral moves, peace and stability can be reached,” stated Jevtić. He further said that the solution for construction of the pedestrian zone in Kosovska Mitrovica will enable safety for pedestrians, and reminded that civilian vehicle traffic will not be allowed.
Jevtić concluded that local self-government in Mitrovica North has proved that it works in the interest of its residents.
