The Association of Missing and Kidnapped Persons from Kosovo and Metohija stated that construction of bridges cannot take place before the justice is served to Serbian victims.

In an open letter to the EU High Representative Federica Mogherini and the Head of EU Delegation in Belgrade Michal Davenport, the representatives of the Association said that demolition of the wall in Mitrovica North is also the time when EU and Pristina should deal with human lives.

“The Association of families of kidnapped and killed in Kosovo and Metohija regretfully witnesses that the issue of human lives, kidnapped and murdered in Kosmet is kept aside, whereas in the frame of the Brussels Agreement, joint decision has been made over night on demolition of certain wall in Mitrovica North”. In their open letter, they further said that leaders in the region cannot build bridges of reconciliation without justice being served for Serbian victims.

The representatives of the Association went on to say that the EU should show their pledge for truth and justice and that “responsible for crimes against our family members should be processed”.
