Kosovo President Hashim Thaci says that Pristina has not yet reached a decision with regard to the elections for the president of Serbia.

And although the Kosovo institutions have not yet taken a position on the holding of the Serbian presidential elections in Kosovo, the OSCE have confirmed their readiness to provide technical help to implement them.

The Serbian Electoral Commission (RIK) decided, during one of its previous session, that 90 polling stations in Kosovo and Metohija would be opened for the elections for the president of Serbia, scheduled for April 2.

Minister for Communities and Returns in the Kosovo government Dalibor Jevtic said that “anything except the holding of the presidential elections in Kosovo would be a bad message.”

He also recalled that Serbian elections have so far “always been held” in the territory of Kosovo.
