For the second time in a month, Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has taken to Facebook to announce that Serbia would be sued for genocide.

Thaci’s latest threat comes after his failed attempt to form an army in Kosovo, and ahead of the raising of the first indictments by the Specialist Court for KLA crimes, expected to happen by the end of the year, Tanjug said in its report on Tuesday.

This time, Thaci wrote that “Serb forces 18 years ago after consecutive massacres and attempts at ethnic cleansing, killed more than 54 members of the Mukoli and Elshani families in Poklek and Drenica, mostly women, children, and elderly, as well as 24 more Albanians in the village of Staro Cikatovo.”

He added that Serbia would “soon” be sued for “genocide in Kosovo.”

Thaci sent a similar message earlier this month – something that Belgrade interpreted as “provocation.”

Thaci first announced the possibility of Pristina suing Serbia for genocide in February 2015.
