Kosovo’s President Hashim Thaci met today in Pristina with Slovenian Defence Minister, Andreja Katic. Thaci thanked Katic for Slovenia’s continuous support and expressed readiness to further the fruitful cooperation between the two countries. “We have good bilateral, political, economic and cultural cooperation with countries in the region, even with those that have not recognized Kosovo’s independence,” Thaci said during the meeting. Thaci also informed Katic about the transformation of the Kosovo Security Force into the Kosovo Armed Forces. He said that the future army of Kosovo will be a professional and multiethnic force, in line with NATO standards, and in the service of all citizens of Kosovo.
