The ceremony of certification of the first generation of Kosovo Security Force (KSF) recruits from non-Albanian communities is being held today at the Doctrine and Training Command in Ferizaj. Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, the U.S. Ambassador to Kosovo, Greg Delawie and KSF leaders are participating at the ceremony which is taking place at “Skenderbeu” caserne.
Thaci said on this occasion that he is happy to participate at this ceremony and congratulated the new recruits. According to him, the ceremony is even more glorious for the fact that recruits from communities are graduating.
“The institution that you are joining is the most democratic and multiethnic institution. We are working in accordance with the recommendations of the security section to conclude KSF’s transformation into an army. No one in Kosovo, the region or further should be concerned about this natural and successful process,” Thaci said.
