Xhavit Haliti, member of the chairmanship of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), told the daily today that the PDK-AAK-NISMA (PAN) coalition has the required votes to form a new government. “Only the leaders of the two parties can talk in detail about the current situation, but according to the information I have the coalition has the required number of votes to form a new government,” he said. Haliti said that whoever forms a new government is obliged by the Constitution to include the minority communities. “Whoever forms the government is obliged to include the minorities and the Serbian List in the coalition. Kosovo must foster relations with the Serb community and with the political parties of minority communities. These are both constitutional and above all human obligations, because we need to provide them the necessary room to act and we should not act like their predecessors did towards us,” Haliti added.
